2009 Fine Arts/Music Camps in Calgary

If you're in the Calgary area and are looking for summer music camps, look no further:

• Calgary Arts Summer School Association (CASSA): CASSA offers a wide range of summer programs, including Musical Theatre Showtime; Piano Camp; Adult Piano Camp; CASS-Amici String Camp; PlayWriting Camp; Music, Drama, Movement and Art Camp; Music Theory Workshop; Jazz Connection, Improv Camp; PlayWriting Camp; CASS Recital; and the Piano Pedagogy Workshop (yes, I'm making a shameless plug for the group I'm working with). There's still room available in all the programs.
• Foothills Acoustic Music Institute: There's still space available in the August Instructional Camp. Note that "children between the ages of 12 and 18 must proficient enough to attend one of the adult classes and be accompanied by a parent, guardian or designated responsible adult who has registered to attend the camp".
• SummerACT: These include drama, storytelling, dance, visual arts, creative movement, musical theatre and more.
